I, Mehmet Ali Kerem Çakır, obtained my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design education at Özyeğin University. I believed that simplicity, originality and usability are always at the forefront when finding solutions to the needs of individuals livings. In the undergraduate education I received, I gained the technical and practical infrastructure to bring my ideas to life. In addition to this, in order to capture the methods of our age, I was personally interested in 3D printers and productions.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree at Istituto Marangoni. During this period, I had the opportunity to work on projects with renowned brands such as Baleri Italia and Cassina. These experiences have enriched my design approach, particularly in Italian design heritage, material exploration, production techniques, and differentiation in furniture design.
Finally, I am a fresh designer who always favors change, thinks about learning from mistakes rather than eliminating them, and believes in the power of peace.
